Open to any role. I have worked in Random House Uk for the last two years and I have done an MA in Literature and Publishing from NUI Galway. I am back in Ireland and I am looking for any job in Publishing. Either in Cork or Dublin. I am a freelance editor, proofreader and translator with years of experience working for publishing houses such as Round Hall Press, Mercier Press and The Lilliput Press. I hold a high-honour degree in Foreign Languages and Literature (English and Spanish) and a Master’s degree in Creative Writing, awarded by Trinity College Dublin. I am bilingual in English and Italian, and can also translate from Spanish, French and Sardinian. I am an academic author and former newspaper editor and journalist, with a BA and PhD in English from Trinity College Dublin, currently seeking work in editing/publishing.
I have a great deal of editing experience, in journalism and professional consultancy, as well as a decade’s experience in teaching English at tertiary level.
