Gill Education Seeks Marketing Assistant

Role: Marketing Assistant

Vacancy type: Permanent, Part-Time (20 hours pw)

Reporting to: Marketing and Communications Manager, Gill Education

Key duties and responsibilities

Administrative support for the marketing and communication functions of Gill Education to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the department, including:

  • Organisation and co-ordination of promotional events, competitions, etc.
  • Liaison with suppliers; arranging the printing and dispatch of marketing materials
  • Organisation and co-ordination of direct mailings
  • Administration of Gill Education attendance at conferences, events, etc.
  • Production of marketing material for selected projects
  • Maintenance of customer databases
  • Assisting with the day-to-day functions of our website
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns
  • Assemble and circulate reports on marketing initiatives
  • Researching products/services
  • General administration as needed by the team and department


Key competencies

  • Highly organised, with a proven ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proactive in building strong, positive working relationships with team members
  • Proven track record of adaptability within a busy work environment
  • In-depth working knowledge of all Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
