A Bad Year for Ukrainian Publishers Following a Ban on Russian Books

An estimated 136 publishing companies in Ukraine have closed due to a drop in sales following a government ban on Russian book imports. Those publishers still in operation are reported to be struggling as well, and more companies are expected to declare bankruptcy by the year’s end.
