Are You Ready for the 28 June Deadline?
If a publisher is wondering what happens on 28 June, it probably means that they are not ready or… not publishing ebooks at all.
Adopted in 2019, a month before the more famous Copyright in the Digital Single Market, more commonly known as the DSM Directive, the European Accessibility Act finally comes into application in less than two months’ time.
On Tuesday, 6 May, over lunchtime, FEP and LIA, with the support of the Creative Europe APACE project, will (try to) answer all the questions you have about this important piece of legislation. We want the format to be interactive, so send your questions to Domenico dlamagna@fep-fee.eu
Many member states are still lagging (yes, after 6 years, surprising but true) in their practical implementation, but if your country has not yet finalised the application decree, maybe you can get inspired by the few countries which have already done so.
