Bookselling Ireland – Covid 19
At Bookselling Ireland we are doing all that we can to support booksellers and their partners in the supply chain through this difficult period and we particularly realise the issues facing publishers and authors in getting their new and forthcoming books to market. The Covid 19 epidemic is having a major impact on publications and publication dates. Our booksellers are doing a great job in keeping their customers and communities engaged until they can resume supplying their book-loving customers.
I know the landscape is changing daily and some bookshops are finding ways to stay within the rules and try support their business / customers and the industry itself, a lot of Bookshops across Ireland don’t have a presence or ways to follow guidelines and feel lost in direction for the next few months.
To help them with their efforts, we are looking to compile an overview of the major new titles being published in April, May and June and also those titles that were to be published in those three months that have slipped from the schedules and will now be published later in the year
Could you please send details of these titles in an Excel spreadsheet to alan.staton@booksellers.org.uk who, with your permission, will compile this list for booksellers
