Cheltenham Literature Festival: Fever Pitch
Tuesday 22nd March 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Fever Pitch with the Cheltenham Literature Festival for October 2022
Publishing Ireland will host a pitching session for members to speak directly to the programmers of The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival 2022. Members of Publishing Ireland can participate in this Fever Pitch session with Lyndsey Fineran, Programme and Commissions Manager, and Loraine Evans, Family and Schools Programme Manager on Tuesday 22nd March @ 2.30pm – 4pm. The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival will run from 7–16 October 2022. The programmers are interested in authors who write fiction, non-fiction and children’s literature. Specific information such as where the author is based is helpful, and thoughts on potential pairings are useful but not essential.
HOW THIS WORKS
We ask that publishers pitch up to five titles in a maximum of five minutes each – this timing will be regulated on the day. The presentations will be recorded and available for programmers to watch on catch-up. Please send your presentation, which should cover one slide per title, one title per minute, as a PowerPoint presentation in 16:9 ratio, to orla@publishingireland.com and president@publishingireland.com by Wednesday 16th March at 6pm. The slides will be compiled into a single slideshow that will be shared on Zoom by the host at the session.
Please confirm the names and email addresses of presenters by Wednesday 16th March @ 6pm.
Zoom joining details will be sent in advance Please register interest and email orla@publishingireland.com for a PPT template to use.
