Evie’s Christmas Wishes
Little Island
Siobhán Parkinson Returns with a Brand New Book About Preparing for Christmas!
Little Island books are excitedly getting ready to share Evie’s Christmas Wishes, a picturebook about preparing for Christmas! It’s written by their founder Siobhán Parkinson and illustrated by up-and-coming Limerick illustrator Shannon Bergin, and it comes out on the 31st of October.
The story follows a little girl named Evie as she excitedly prepares for Christmas in Dublin. There’s lots to do, from rehearsing for the nativity play with her classmates to writing her letter to Santa, to helping her mammy and daddy make the Christmas pudding, ice the Christmas cake, and decorate the tree!
As Evie gets ready for the big day, she is wishing, wishing, wishing …
Siobhán wrote the book after hearing from booksellers that there isn’t a really Irish Christmas picturebook on the market, and Shannon brought the story to life with stunning Dublin scenes, including the GPO and Dublin airport.
Available for pre-order on littleisland.ie or from your local bookshop!

About the Illustrator
