Learning To Tango & In the Dark

Turas Press New Releases

12th April 2021

Turas Press has announced that In The Dark, the second novel by Irish/Spanish writer Anamaria Crowe Serrano will be published on 31st May and Learning to Tango, a fourth poetry collection from Liz McSkeane will be available from 30th April.

Set in Teruel, north-east Spain, winter, 1937, Franco’s Nationalist rebels have surrounded the devastated, Republican-held city and the people are struggling to survive in a battle zone. In The Dark is a heart-rending tale of the bitter daily hardships of survival during the civil war. Enduring the coldest winter in decades, this is the story of a house, of the people who take refuge there – and a dangerous secret within.

The fourth poetry collection from Liz McSkeane is an exuberant, playful, sometimes intense reflection on navigating the challenges of movement, the dynamics of the dance floor and the world beyond it.

Both In The Dark & Learning To Tango are available for pre-order from the Turas shop now:
