Lilliput Press Celebrate President Michael D Higgins’ Birthday

The Lilliput Press has published President Michael D. Higgins’ Reclaiming the European Street: Speeches on Europe and the European Union, 2016-20 on 8 April. The President of Ireland appeared on the Late Late Show on 16 April, and he celebrated his 80th birthday on 18 April. The co-editors, Fergal Lenehan and Joachim Fischer were also in conversation on the 20th April for the Cork World Book Fest Opening Event.

The Spirit of the River: A Quest for the Kingfisher by Declan Murphy will be published on 22 April. This new non-fiction work chronicles Declan’s observations on nature and his personal journey with mental health, alongside his closest companion – his Dalmatian. This is Declan’s second nature book with Lilliput.Adrian Duncan has been shortlisted for the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year 2021, for his novel A Sabbatical in Leipzig.
