And to make your life even easier, they’ll even wrap the books for you! Each order comes with a gift tag and a Christmas card, which can be addressed to the gift recipient and sent directly to them.

Little Island Books Awards News
Little Island Books are delighted that Savage Her Reply, written by Deirdre Sullivan and illustrated by Karen Vaughan, has been nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal 2022. The CILIP Carnegie Medal is awarded by children’s librarians for an outstanding book written in English for children and young people.
Savage Her Reply recently won a Literacy Association of Ireland Biennial Children’s Book Award. The LAI Book Award is given every second year to a book published in Ireland in the previous two years.
Helena Close’s The Gone Book was recently named as a White Raven 2021. The White Ravens list aims to highlight and promote high-quality books for children and young people. It has become a useful tool for all those who want to find out about highlights and trends in international children’s and young people’s literature and who want to look beyond national and linguistic borders, whether they are editors, booksellers, librarians, literary educators and mediators, academics, or parents.
