PI Trade Day 2016 “Reaching Readers”
Publishing Ireland’s Annual Trade Day opened with an update on Publishing Ireland from Ruth Hegarty, President, Publishing Ireland.
This was followed by Reaching Readers with Social and Traditional Media, a presentation on social media from Katherine Foley, followed by a panel discussion on traditional media with Martin Doyle and Barbara Feeney.
The Bookseller/Publisher Relationship was discussed with a seasoned panel of booksellers including Alyson Wilson, Adrian White and Bob Johnston. After this robust panel discussion, there was plenty of time for a Q&A with the audience. Chaired by Eoin McHugh (Transworld Ireland)
