Provisional Programme for Irish Book Trade Conference Released

The provisional programme for the 2018 Irish Book Trade Conference has been released. The conference is being offered by Bookselling Ireland and Publishing Ireland, with joint chairs Frank Kelly and Ronan Colgan. The event will be held at the Radisson Blu, Dublin Airport on 2 March 2018. Speakers include Bobby Kerr of Insomnia Coffee Shops, Carol Brownlee of Nielsen BookScan, Maria Dickenson of Dubray Books, Martin Doyle of the Irish Times, Conor Hackett of HackettFlynn Publishers Agency, Sarah Davis-Goff of Tramp Press, Bob Johnston of the Gutter Bookshop, inspirational speaker Caroline Foran, Noel Davidson of The Entrepeneurs Academy, Glenn Cunningham and Trevor Rogers of Eason, Jennifer Forde of Dubray Books, and Jim Power of Jim Power Economics. Author Donal Ryan will be the special guest speaker for the dinner portion of the evening, which will then be followed by a late bar and disco. Those who wish to attend must register in advance using the booking form provided by 23rd February.
