Crannóg

Crannóg is a literary print magazine that publishes short stories and poetry by Irish and international writers twice yearly. It has been published continuously since 2002. To date, there have been 61 issues. Each issue contains on average 100 pages to include 10-12 short stories and about 35 poems plus an interview with an author on the writing life. It is funded by the Arts Council and by Galway City Council. Payment is €200 per story, author interview and cover image and €120 per poem. Crannóg also awards a bursary of €1500 to one contributor to each issue, sponsored by poet Marian Kilcoyne.
