LeabhairCOMHAR

LeabhairCOMHAR is an Irish-language publishing imprint launched in 2009 to develop and provide high-quality modern literature and writing in Irish. LeabhairCOMHAR’s publications focus primarily, but not exclusively, on creative fiction, novels and literary texts for adults, novels for adult learners of Irish, as well as picture books and fiction for children and YA.

Recent publications include: Inis Mara 2 by Tristan Rosenstock, illustrated by Mark Wickham, the sequel to World Book Day title Inis Mara; and Geansaithe Móra by Gearóidín Nic Cárthaigh, which won the Irish Language Fiction Book of the Year at the An Post Irish Book Awards in 2024.
