My Irish Books

My Irish Books, located in Kells, County Meath, is dedicated to promoting the accessibility of the Irish language for learners and native speakers, with a particular focus on children’s literature. We specialise in creating high-quality smart sound books that encompass diverse themes, including music, culture, pastimes, the environment, the countryside, the sea, and fundamental language skills. Our mission is centred around promoting Irish literature to resonate with and engage not only children but also their parents, who, thus far, may not have been confident enough in their own Irish-language proficiency to read Irish with their children.

To date, we have published 12 titles, featuring best-sellers such as “Mo Chuid Amhráin Ghaeilge” (My Irish Songs) and “Fuaimeanna na Farraige” (Sounds of the Sea), as well as recent releases such as “Mo Chuid Uirlisí Ceoil” (My Musical Instruments) and “Mo Chuid Rincí Gaelacha” (My Irish Dances). We have collaborated with writers, artists and musicians such as Tatyana Feeney, Anne O’Hara, Emer Ní Scolaí, Anna Jordan and Sult.
