Following the success of its day packages at Frankfurt Book Fair 2015, Publishing Ireland intends to book a table or two at this year’s London and Frankfurt Book Fairs 2016 and to offer day packages to publishers. This initiative responds to feedback from members who cannot attend the full fair for cost or other reasons. Publishing Ireland aims to grow the regular presence of Irish publishers in the international rights market and to allow them to access services from international companies and attend seminars by encouraging all publishers to take the opportunity to come to the fairs every year.

Publishing Ireland would offer publishers day packages or shorter. Publishers could avail of a fixed meeting space at the Irish table, message taking, bag-drop service and exhibiting space for catalogues. A catalogue-only option to showcase publishers would also be possible allowing more Irish books to be visible throughout the duration of the fair.
