Meet Our Speakers:

Orlaith Tunney – Careers Consultant with Trinity Careers Service

With extensive experience in supporting arts and humanities university students, she thrives in helping them reach their full potential. Her expertise lies in career counselling, where she offers confidential one-on-one guidance, tailored career management workshops, and career skills coaching. Over the years, she has successfully managed numerous projects. Many of the students she advises are interested in pursuing careers in publishing. She emphasises the importance of acquiring relevant skills and experience to succeed in this field. She holds an MA in Careers Education, Information, and Guidance from the University of Warwick.

Isabel Dwyer – Digital Marketing Coordinator at Publishing Ireland

She holds an MA in Literature and Publishing from the University of Galway, where she was the inaugural recipient of the Tony Farmar Bursary (a full scholarship established by the Irish Copyright Licensing Agency). She also works as Deputy Publisher for The Dublin Review. She has experience both working in the publishing and arts management industry, having held positions at organisations such as Literature Ireland, and she is also a writer. She was recently appointed Prose Editor at Frustrated Writers’ Group. She was Managing Editor of ROPES Literary Journal from 2021–2022.

Sarah Sturzel – Editor for educational publisher and Co-editor of Profiles, a literary and vis-arts journal
